Monday- Nov 23, 2009

We have looked at other students' posters and their creative briefs at the beginning of class, and we voted on each posters which has a great concept. Jimmy asked us to pick one poster that impressed us after the voting. Then Jimmy told us a story and asked us to close our eyes to imagine it. At the end of the story is we ended up enter the cave, there are many doors that have different names on it and opened the door which has our own name on it. Then, he asked us to drew what we have seen after we opened the door. I have seen my parents and my dog after I opened the door. At the end of the class, Jimmy has given and talked about the final project to us.

1) Aesthetic:
-pertaining to a sense of the beautiful or to the science of aesthetics.

2) Dogmatic:
-of, pertaining to, or of the nature of a dogma or dogmas; doctrinal.
- asserting opinions in a doctrinaire or arrogant manner; opinionated.

3) Emphatic:
- uttered, or to be uttered, with emphasis; strongly expressive.
- forceful; insistent.
-very impressive or significant; strongly marked; striking.
- Phonetics. having a secondary velar articulation, as certain dental consonants in Arabic.

  1. I thought the story excersice was a good excersice because we have the opportunity to imagine and drew it.

  2. By letting us create our own perception and ideas of what we encountered through the door, it let us be free in what we wanted it to be not bounded by limitations.
